1. Agreement to Terms

By using the PyroBot Discord bot ("the Bot"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Bot.

2. Description of Service

PyroBot is a Discord bot designed to provide comprehensive raid scheduling, management, AI-powered chat assistance, and knowledge management features for Discord gaming communities. The Bot offers both free and premium features to enhance your server's functionality.

Core Features

• Raid Management - Schedule, organize, and track raid events
• Participant Management - Sign-ups, pass systems, and attendance tracking
• AI Chat Assistant - Intelligent responses powered by AI with guild-specific knowledge
• Knowledge Base - Store and retrieve guild-specific information
• Automatic Notifications - DM reminders and channel notifications
• RAG Memory - Contextual chat history for better AI responses

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Bot only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Bot. Prohibited behavior includes:

• Harassment, abuse, or threatening language
• Spam or flooding channels with commands
• Attempting to exploit or hack the Bot
• Using the Bot to distribute malware or harmful content
• Violating Discord's Terms of Service
• Circumventing rate limits or usage restrictions
• Abusing AI features for malicious purposes
• Submitting inappropriate content to the knowledge base

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Discord account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 Guild Administration

Server administrators are responsible for:

• Configuring the Bot appropriately for their community
• Ensuring the Bot's use complies with their server rules
• Managing permissions and access to the Bot's features
• Monitoring Bot usage within their server
• Reviewing and validating guild knowledge submissions
• Configuring AI features responsibly

4. AI Features and Content

4.1 AI-Generated Content

The Bot uses AI technology to generate responses. You acknowledge that:

• AI responses may not always be accurate or appropriate
• The Bot developers are not responsible for AI-generated content
• You should verify important information from AI responses
• AI responses are based on provided context and training data

4.2 Guild Knowledge Base

When using the knowledge base feature:

• Submitted knowledge must be accurate and appropriate
• Guild administrators are responsible for validating submissions
• Knowledge submissions may be reviewed and removed if inappropriate
• You grant the Bot permission to store and use submitted knowledge for guild-specific AI responses

4.3 Chat History and Summarization

The Bot may:

• Store chat interactions for context and summarization
• Generate summaries of chat history using AI
• Use chat history to improve response quality
• Retain chat logs according to our data retention policy

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Bot, including all code, features, and functionality, is the intellectual property of the Bot developers. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Bot as provided.

6. Limitations of Liability

6.1 No Warranty

The Bot is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Bot will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The Bot will meet your specific requirements
• Any defects will be corrected
• AI responses will be accurate or appropriate

6.2 Limitation of Damages

In no event shall the Bot developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Bot, including but not limited to:

• Damages from AI-generated content
• Loss of data or raid schedules
• Missed raid events due to notification failures
• Inappropriate AI responses

6.3 Data Loss

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, we are not responsible for:

• Loss of data due to server failures
• Accidental deletion of raid schedules, settings, or knowledge
• Corruption of stored information
• Backup failures
• Loss of chat history or summaries

We recommend regularly backing up important raid schedules and configurations.

7. Free vs. Premium Features

7.1 Free Tier

Free users have access to standard features with limitations:

• Basic raid scheduling and management
• Standard AI help to create Raid Schedule
• Basic notification features

7.2 Premium/Supporter Tier

Supporters unlock enhanced features including:

• AI Conversational - AI can answer questions and provide information
• Configurable AI Personality - Set your own AI personality
• Increased AI Query Limits - Higher rate limits for AI commands
• Custom AI Models - Use your own OpenRouter API key and preferred models
• Extended Chat History - Longer retention of chat logs and summaries
• Priority Support - Faster response times for issues
• Early Access to new features
• Ad-free Experience - No promotional messages
• Enhanced Knowledge Base - Larger storage capacity

8. Donations and Payments

8.1 Voluntary Donations

Donations are voluntary contributions to support the development and operation of the Bot. Running this service is not free, and donations help us:

• Maintain server infrastructure and databases
• Cover AI API costs (OpenRouter, embeddings)
• Develop new features
• Provide ongoing support
• Improve service reliability

8.2 No Refunds

All donations are final and non-refundable. Donations do not constitute a purchase of goods or services but rather a voluntary contribution.

8.3 Supporter Benefits

Supporter status is granted upon successful donation and remains active for the duration specified at the time of donation. We reserve the right to revoke supporter status for violations of these Terms of Service.

9. Data Privacy

9.1 Data Collection

The Bot collects and stores:

• Discord user IDs, usernames, and global names
• Guild IDs and settings
• Raid schedules and participant information
• Command usage logs
• Chat messages when mentioned (for AI context)
• Guild knowledge submissions
• AI conversation history
• Chat summaries

9.2 Data Usage

Your data is used solely for:

• Providing Bot functionality
• Generating AI responses with context
• Creating chat summaries
• Improving service quality
• Preventing abuse and violations
• Complying with legal obligations

9.3 Data Retention

• Chat logs are retained for summarization purposes
• Summaries are stored as searchable documents
• Raid schedules are retained until deleted
• Guild knowledge is retained until removed by administrators
• You may request data deletion by contacting us directly

9.4 AI Data Processing

• Chat messages are sent to third-party AI providers (OpenRouter)
• Messages are processed according to the AI provider's privacy policy
• We do not share personal data beyond what's necessary for AI processing

10. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the Bot's source code
• Create derivative works or clones of the Bot
• Use the Bot for commercial purposes without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Bot systems
• Interfere with the Bot's operation or other users' access
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Abuse AI features to generate harmful or inappropriate content
• Submit false or malicious information to the knowledge base
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or usage restrictions

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Bot if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in prohibited activities
• Abuse the Bot's features or resources
• Violate Discord's Terms of Service
• Submit inappropriate content repeatedly
• Abuse AI features

12. Third-Party Services

The Bot integrates with third-party services including:

• OpenRouter - AI model provider
• OpenAI - Embedding generation
• Discord - Platform provider

Your use of these services through the Bot is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of the Bot shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
